Whereas the management of solid or liquid wastes is an integral part of every society and should be compatible with the nature of the society from which it is produced, and in most cases global trends focus on sustainability issues; It does this by minimizing waste from the source, reusing and recycling.

Most of the efforts focus on “zero waste” and / or “Zero landfilling”, which is definitely costly for weak economies such as those of developing countries.

  • Managing and operating sanitary landfills for municipal waste in the governorates of the Republic in accordance with the state plan.
  • Treatment and recycling of municipal waste to produce organic fertilizer and reject fuel (RDF) for use in cement factories.
  • Collecting and transporting solid and liquid hazardous waste, recycling, recovery and final disposal in the sites designated for that and approved by the Environmental Affairs Agency.
  • Collecting and transporting medical waste and its safe disposal in the sites approved by the Environmental Affairs Agency.
  • Use of the appropriate and multiple means of transport that suit the operating conditions to maintain the security of the work environment.
  • Safe handling and disposal of associated water resulting from the extraction of petroleum and natural gas.
