Solid and liquid waste management is one of the main challenges facing governments in developing and developed countries alike, which requires concerted efforts between the public and private sectors to find sustainable solutions, and although these problems represent a great challenge, there are great opportunities for private sector companies to undertake An effective role in integrated waste management, updating its methods and increasing its effectiveness, in addition to mobilizing private capital to implement profitable and scalable projects.

Whereas the management of solid or liquid wastes is an integral part of every society and should be compatible with the nature of the society from which it is produced, and in most cases global trends focus on sustainability issues; It does this by minimizing waste from the source, reusing and recycling.

Most of the efforts focus on “zero waste” and / or “Zero landfilling”, which is definitely costly for weak economies such as those of developing countries.
